Charlotte home Inspector Preston Sandlin was inspecting a home Wilmore near Dilworth in Charlotte NC when he found a a leak in the attic near the plumbing vent. After getting on the roof he discovered why there was a leak. While performing the roof inspection he discovered there was no plumbing boot at the plumbing vent stack. Someone had just put some of Henry's roof patch around the vent stack where a rubber plumbing boot should have been. This was actively leaking and needs to be repaired.
