Charlotte Home Inspector Explains Nail Pops

Charlotte Home Inspector Preston Sandlin Found nail pops on the shingle of a roof he recently inspected.  What causes nail pops?  As the wood expands and contracts it pushes the nails out.  When these nails push up the tar strips disconnect making the shingles suseptable to high winds.  You really want the tar strips to seal up.
